building the pearce legacy brick by brick
The Pearce Athletic Booster
Club and the Legacy Brick Steering Committee kicked
off the PABC Legacy Brick Campaign. This
campaign is "Building the Pearce Legacy Brick by
Brick" and will create a new showplace at Pearce
outside the school entrance to the Gymnasium
composed of engraved bricks commemorating students,
alumni, faculty and community leaders. Funds from
the Legacy Brick Campaign will not only create this
showplace but will also be used for some exciting
new beautification and branding projects at Pearce
benefiting all students. You will not want to miss
this opportunity to be among the first bricks to be
laid.
You choose what your brick will say and what logos
are used among many choices.
Click Here to view logo choices. Forms are
available at the Pearce Information Desk or
to download the form. Your brick number will be
assigned by when your order is received. In other
words, the earlier it is received, the lower brick
number you will get!
Bricks cost $50 and payment must be made by cash or
check when the order is placed. Since many of you
will want to order multiple bricks, remember that
you must fill out an order form for each brick
ordered. Bricks make a great holiday, birthday,
graduation, coach or teacher gift. Forms may also
be turned in at the Information Desk. For further
information please contact
Sally Field at (972)

The

made a small dent in what needs to be delivered! If you
paid for your directory to be mailed, it should have
reached you by now. If you ordered your directory at
registration, please pick it up or have your child pick
it up at one of the times listed below. If you did not
order a directory and realize how valuable the
information is that is contained within, you can still
purchase one for $5.00 each. Please address any
questions you may have regarding the directory to Lesa Tye-Kasrai.

NOVEMBER VOLUNTEER HOURS ARE
DUE!!
Record your volunteer hours now so that
our school can get the recognition it deserves!
Simply go to the PTA
website at
www.jjpearcepta.org
and click on 'Volunteer Hours'. You can get to this
website quickly from the link at the top of this
enewsletter. OR email your name, the dates and hours you
worked and the activity to one of the email addresses
below.
Volunteer Hours include attending meetings, baking, and helping with
any school event—anything that you or your student does
for Pearce that does not result in a grade. Always
include 15 minutes driving time to and from school—and
keep track of the time you spend running errands on
behalf of a school event. You may record your hours in
a combined total and enter a general description of your
activities.
If
you signed in at the event, those hours have already
been submitted and should not be duplicated.
Thank
you!
