The annual

Pearce on Monday at 7PM in the

attend shows at other schools, write
reviews, and publish those reviews
in local newspapers like The Washington
Post, Cincinnati Enquirer, Dallas

Philadelphia Inquirer. At the end of the
year, the student critics vote for
awards that are presented at a formal
Cappies Gala. In July and August, many
of the top award honorees from around
the U.S. and Canada are invited to
participate in the Cappies International

Mark your calendars for
May 22nd at 4:30 p.m. for the dedication of the
Pearce Legacy Walkway. You have probably already seen the beautiful signage
and landscaping outside the Gymnasium where the
bricks will be installed. Many of you purchased the
engraved bricks that commemorate your favorite
Pearce students, alumni, faculty and community
members. Now it's time to join us for the ribbon
cutting and celebration of the excellence that is
J.J. Pearce High School. Afterwards, follow us
down to Mustang Field, through the new entrance
arch paid for by your bricks, for the annual Spring
Football game.

The entire Pearce community is invited for the
ribbon cutting and dedication. As stated by Bob
Caston, President of the J.J.Pearce Athletic Booster
Club: "This Legacy Walkway will provide a lasting
legacy of the excellence that is J.J. Pearce for all
students, faculty, alumni, parents and the greater
Pearce community'". The Chairmen of the Legacy
Brick Campaign were Roni & Don Briggs.
