Congratulations to the Pearce Academic Decathlon Team
Region X Academic Decathlon was held at Pearce High School on January 29-30.  Winners advance to state competition.  Good luck to the JJ Pearce High School team as they compete for the state title.

Teams Advancing to State Competition

 

There are 12 Regional Competitions in Texas and the winners in each region automatically advance to state competition.    40 Large Teams compete at state and 25 Medium teams compete at state.

Region X Winners were Plano Sr. High for Large School and Rockwall High School for Medium School.

Our region, Region X, is a very competitive one and we had 7 teams within our region advance to state.  Large School:                        Berkner High School from Richardson ISD – 2nd Place

                                    Garland High School from Garland ISD – 3rd Place

                                    Plano East Sr. High from Plano ISD – 4th Place

 

Medium School:          JJ Pearce High School, Richardson ISD – 2nd Place

                                    Highland Park High School, Highland Park ISD – 3rd Place

Volunteer at Pearce

Volunteer and help support your school!  Volunteers are always needed at various events and functions throughout the year. 

You can signup to volunteer here.

Please record your hours here.  

Typical reportable hours include, chaperoning, helping with events at the school or school events not occuring at school, driving to and from events you are volunteering for, telephoning/emailing, committee meetings, decorating, preparing reports, conventions, training, etc.
